The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
