Whatever misfortune happens to you, is because on the things your hands have wrought, and for many (of them) He grants forgiveness. 30 And you cannot escape in the earth, and you shall not have a guardian or a helper besides Allah. 31 And of His signs are the ships in the sea like landmarks. 32 Had He wanted, He could have stopped the wind and let the ships remain motionless on the surface of the sea, in this there is evidence (of the Truth) for all those who are patient and grateful, 33 Or, He wrecks them for what they have earned, but He pardons a lot. 34 And that those who argue concerning Our revelations may know they have no refuge. 35 Whatever you have received is just a means of enjoyment for this life but the reward of God for the believers and those who trust in their Lord will be better and everlasting. 36 And those who avoid the major sins and indecencies and, when angered, forgive; 37 Those who hearken to their Lord, and establish regular Prayer; who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation; who spend out of what We bestow on them for Sustenance; 38 who, when a wrong is done to them, seek its redress. 39 The recompense for evil will be equivalent to the deed. He who pardons (the evil done to him) and reforms himself, will receive his reward from God. God certainly does not love the unjust. 40 And indeed whosoever takes revenge after he has suffered wrong, for such there is no way (of blame) against them. 41 The way of blame is only against those who wrong mankind, and rebel in the earth without justice; these! for them is a torment afflictive. 42 Surely, he who bears patiently and forgives indeed that is true constancy. 43
