۞ When (Jesus) the son of Mary is held up as an example, behold, thy people raise a clamour thereat (in ridicule)! 57 and say, 'What, are our gods better, or he?' They cite not him to thee, save to dispute;. nay, but they are a people contentious. 58 He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the children of Israel. 59 And if We willed, We could have established angels on the earth instead of you. 60 And most surely it is a knowledge of the hour, therefore have no doubt about it and follow me: this is the right path. 61 Let satan not prevent you from the right path. He is your sworn enemy". 62 And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me. 63 Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore serve Him; this is the right path: 64 But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement: then woe to the wrong-doers, from the Penalty of a Grievous Day! 65 Are they looking for anything except the Hour (to overtake them). It will come upon them suddenly when they are unaware! 66 Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous 67
