Surely the fruit of the Zaqqum tree 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
