Al-Najm 3 of 3
(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
