Everyone on earth is destined to die. 26 while your Lord's own Self will remain full of majesty and glory. 27 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 28 On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. 29 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 30 Jinn and mankind, We shall certainly settle your accounts. 31 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 32 O you who live in close communion with [evil] invisible beings and humans! If you [think that you] can pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them! [But] you cannot pass beyond them, save by a sanction [from God]! 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 36 When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment: 37 which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 38 On that day there will be no need to ask mankind or jinn about his sin 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 The guilty shall be recognized by their marks so they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 42 (It will be said): “This is the Hell that the culprits had cried lies to. 43 Going round between it and boiling water fierce. 44 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 45
