▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
