▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who [the true believer of Islamic Monotheism who performs all the duties ordained by Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW, and keeps away (abstain) from all kinds of sin and evil deeds prohibited in Islam and] fears the standing before his Lord, there will be two Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 With spreading branches. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 green, green pastures -- 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 therein maidens good and comely -- 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 Fair ones, confined in tents. 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
