▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
There are two gardens for one who fears standing before his Lord. 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 dark green in color. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
