The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On lined couches, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And wide eyed houris 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and spreading shade 30 and waters gushing, 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And raised couches; 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And have made them virgins. 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
