A large group from the earlier generations. 39 And a multitude from the later generations. 40 BUT AS FOR those who have persevered in evil - what of those who have persevered in evil? 41 They will be in the midst of scorching wind and boiling water, 42 and the shadows of black smoke 43 neither cool nor good. 44 Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence, 45 and they persisted obstinately in awful sin, 46 And they used to say, “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we surely be raised again?” 47 “And also our forefathers?” 48 Say: "Indeed, the earlier and the later generations 49 Are going to be assembled on the appointed time of a Day Known. 50 and then, verily, O you who have gone astray and called the truth a lie, 51 will eat from the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 and fill your bellies with it, 53 And shall be drinkers thereon of boiling water. 54 Lapping it up like female camels raging of thirst with disease." 55 This shall be their hospitality on the Day of Doom. 56 We have created you: why then do you not accept the truth? 57 Have ye seen that which ye emit? 58 Is it you who create it - or are We the source of its creation? 59 We have decreed death to you all, and We are not unable, 60 From replacing you with others or raising you in a way you do not know. 61 You certainly knew about (your) first development. Why do you not take heed? 62 Have you thought about what crops you plant? 63 Is it you that make it grow, or are We the Grower? 64 If We willed, We verily could make it chaff, then would ye cease not to exclaim: 65 That, “We have indeed been penalised!” 66 Surely, we have been deprived (of the benefits)". 67 Have you seen the water which you drink? 68 Is it you that send it down from the clouds, or are We the senders? 69 Had We wanted, We could have made it salty. Why then do you not give thanks? 70 Have you thought about the fire that you kindle. 71 Is it you that produce the trees for it, or are We the producers? 72 We have made it as a reminder of hell and as a utility for travellers in the jungle. 73 Then celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme! 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
