۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
