▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
