۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
