Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The true event! 1 What is the Inevitable Calamity? 2 And what will make thee realise what the Sure Reality is? 3 The Thamud and the Ad denied the (possibility of a) sudden calamity, calling it false. 4 As for Thamood, they were destroyed by the Screamer; 5 And as for 'Aad they were destroyed by a wind, furious, roaring. 6 that He subjected upon them for seven nights and eight days consecutively and you might have seen them struck down as if they were the stumps of palm trees that had fallen down. 7 So do you see any survivor among them? 8 And Firaun, and those before him, and the dwellings that were inverted and thrown, had brought error. 9 They therefore disobeyed the Noble Messengers of their Lord so He seized them with an intense seizure. 10 When the flood rose high and covered the whole land, We carried you in the Ark. 11 That We might make it a remembrance for you, and the keen ear (person) may (hear and) understand it. 12 Then, when one blast is sounded on the Trumpet, 13 And the earth and the mountains will be lifted up and crushed with a single crush. 14 then, on that day, the Terror shall come to pass, 15 And the sky will be rent asunder, for it will that Day be flimsy, 16 and the angels will stand on the sides, with eight of them bearing aloft the Throne of your Lord on that Day. 17 That Day shall you be brought to Judgement, not a secret of you will be hidden. 18 Then as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Take, read my Record! 19 I was sure that the record of my deeds would be shown to me". 20 He is therefore in the desired serenity. 21 in an exalted garden 22 The Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near. 23 "Eat ye and drink ye, with full satisfaction; because of the (good) that ye sent before you, in the days that are gone!" 24 However, those who will receive the books of the records of their deeds in their left hands will say, "We wish that this record had never been given to us 25 "And that I had never realised how my account (stood)! 26 How I wish my death had ended all. 27 My riches have availed me not; 28 and my authority has vanished.” 29 Lay hold of him and chain him; 30 Roast him in Hell, 31 Then thrust him into a chain the length of which is seventy cubits. 32 Lo! He used not to believe in Allah the Tremendous, 33 Nor did he urge the feeding of the poor. 34 Therefore he has not here today a true friend, 35 Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds; 36 None will eat it except the sinners. 37

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
