So, I call to witness what you see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
