What ails the unbelievers, running with outstretched necks 36 On the right and on the left, in companies? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 To replace them by (others) better than them; and We are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
