Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 as black camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
