Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 As justification or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
