O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam. 102 Hold fast to the cord of God and let nothing divide you. Remember the blessings He has bestowed upon you; you were enemies and then He united your hearts and by His grace you became brothers; you were on the brink of an abyss of Fire and He rescued you from it. Thus God makes His signs clear to you, so that you may find guidance. 103 Let there be a group among you who call others to good, and enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong: those who do this shall be successful. 104 Be not as those who scattered and fell into variance after the clear signs came to them; those there awaits a mighty chastisement, 105 The Day when faces will be whitened and faces blackened. To those whose faces have become blackened it will be said: 'Did you disbelieve after you had believed? Then taste the punishment for that you disbelieved' 106 But as for those with shining faces, they shall abide forever in God's grace. 107 These are God's messages: We convey them unto thee, setting forth the truth, since God wills no wrong to His creation. 108 His is all that the heavens and the earth contain. To God shall all things return. 109
