(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 high above? 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
