(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 then he who transgressed 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
