The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 The stars turn dim and scatter, 2 The mountains made to move, 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 And when the sky is torn away, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And the close of night, 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 So where are you going? 26 Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds: 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.
