Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Illustrious scribes 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
