Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
