The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord, and it must needs (do so);- 2 when the earth flattens out, 3 And hath cast out all that was in her, and is empty 4 and obeys its Lord as it must, 5 O human, you are working hard towards your Lord and you will meet Him. 6 he who is given his record in his right hand 7 He will be judged with an easy account 8 And will return to his family in joy! 9 But whosoever is given his Record behind his back, 10 He will invoke (his) destruction, 11 and will enter the Blazing Fire. 12 He verily lived joyous with his folk, 13 for he never thought that he would have to return [to God]. 14 Yea indeed! His Sustainer did see all that was in him! 15 So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; 16 And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; 17 and the moon when it grows full, 18 You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter). 19 What aileth them then, that they believe not, 20 Why, when the Quran is recited to them, do they not prostrate themselves? ۩ 21 In fact the unbelievers disavow. 22 and Allah knows very well what they gather. 23 So give them tidings of a painful punishment, 24 But those who believe and work righteous works, theirs shall be a hire unending. 25
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
