The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by the heaven and the comer by night; 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 he was created of gushing water 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 And I secretly plan. 16 So bear with unbelievers with patience, and give them respite for a while. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
