The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
