Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HAS THERE COME unto thee the tiding of the Overshadowing Event? 1 [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled, 2 labouring, weary, 3 They will suffer the heat of the blazing fire 4 that is fueled from a tremendously hot fountain, 5 They shall have no food except bitter dry thorns 6 which gives no strength and neither stills hunger. 7 Many a face will be in serenity on that day. 8 Glad with their endeavour (for their good deeds which they did in this world, along with the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism). 9 in a Garden on high, 10 Where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood, 11 Therein will be a running spring, 12 therein uplifted couches 13 And drinking-cups ready placed, 14 And cushions ranged 15 and rich carpets levelled out. 16 So do they not see the camel how it has been created? 17 And how the heaven was raised up, 18 And the mountains, how they were fixed; 19 And the earth how it has been spread out? 20 Admonish thou then; thou art but an admonisher. 21 Thou art not over them a warden. 22 However, those who turn away and disbelieve, 23 So Allah will mete out to him the greatest punishment. 24 Indeed, to Us is their return. 25 And Ours their reckoning. 26
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
