The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Night as it conceals (the light); 1 And by oath of the day when it shines 2 and That which created the male and the female, 3 your striving is indeed to different ends! 4 Thus, as for him who gives [to others] and is conscious of God, 5 and confirms the reward most fair, 6 Surely We will ease his way unto the state of ease. 7 As for him who was a miser and behaved with aversion (to Allah), 8 and he belied the finest 9 We shall surely ease for him the Path of Hardship (the Fire). 10 nor will his wealth profit him when he falls [into the pit]. 11 Surely, in Our hands is guidance, 12 and, behold, Ours is [the dominion over] the life to come as well as [over] this earlier part [of your life]: 13 Therefore I warn you of the fire that flames: 14 None except the most wicked will enter it. 15 who have rejected the (Truth) and have turned away from it. 16 Far removed from it will be the righteous 17 he that spends his possessions [on others] so that he might grow in purity 18 and owes no favour to anyone, which is to be repaid, 19 seeking only the Face of his Lord, the Most High, 20 He verily will be content. 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
