The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
