The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning hours 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
