Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
