Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 Which had broken your back? 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
