The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
