Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
