The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
