Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
