Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
