The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
