Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
