The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
