The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
