The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
