Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
