The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
