O you who believe! Eat not Riba (usury) doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 guard yourself against the Fire prepared for those who deny the truth, 131 And obey Allah and the messenger, that ye may find mercy. 132 ۞ And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2). 133 who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 134 and who, when they have committed a shameful deed or have [otherwise] sinned against themselves, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven - for who but God could forgive sins? - and do not knowingly persist in doing whatever [wrong] they may have done. 135 Those, their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. How excellent is the wage of those who labor. 136 Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied. 137 This is a declaration for mankind, a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil) 138 And do not become faint of heart, nor grieve, you will have the upper hand, if you are believers, 139 If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). 140 and so that Allah will examine those who believe and efface the unbelievers. 141 Do you think you will go to Paradise while God does not know who among you strive and persist? 142 You had wished to know death before you faced it (in battle); so now you have seen it before your own eyes. 143
