As for the God-fearing, they shall be amid gardens and springs. 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
