And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And We gave them Our signs, and they remained averse to them. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, save in truth. Surely the Hour is coming; so pardon thou, with a gracious pardoning. 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 By the Lord, We will hold them all responsible 92 About their deeds. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 even against those who set up with God another god. Certainly they will soon know! 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99
