The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him! 3 He hath created man from a drop, and Lo! he is a disputer open. 4 And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat. 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 And they bear your loads to a city which ye could not reach except with travail of souls; verily your Lord is Kind, Merciful. 7 And [it is He who creates] horses and mules and asses for you to ride, as well as for [their] beauty: and He will yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge. 8 And upon Allah is the direction of the way, and thereof is some crooked; and had He willed He would have guided you all. 9
